Short answer: the grade follows the line. Of the 503 SKUs in this range, 420 are Grade 1 pure titanium and 83 are alloy - and the alloy sits in four predictable places rather than scattered across the catalogue.

How much of the range is Grade 1?

Four hundred and twenty of 503 SKUs, or about 84 percent. The concentration is the useful part: tablewares (120), cups-mugs (159) and pots-pans (107) are 100 percent Grade 1, all 386 of them, to the last SKU.

Those are the three lines that touch food, and the reason is metallurgical rather than commercial. Grade 1 is commercially pure titanium, the softest and most ductile grade, and it is the grade that wins on taste neutrality and corrosion resistance in a cooking or drinking application.

Kettles split slightly: 30 of 41 are Grade 1 outright, and 11 are Grade 1 with walnut and zinc alloy parts, meaning the vessel is pure and the handle assembly is not.

Why does the alloy sit where it sits?

Because four jobs need yield strength or spring temper rather than softness. All 13 EDC SKUs are Ti-6Al-4V, 17 of 22 keychains are Ti-6Al-4V, and 36 of 41 camp-accessories are listed simply as titanium alloy.

Ti-6Al-4V is Grade 5: aluminium and vanadium added, roughly twice the yield strength of Grade 1. A screw-gate carabiner needs that, and so does a keychain clip that has to hold its shape after a thousand open-close cycles.

Ground anchors are the same argument pointed downward. A 350 mm stake driven into permafrost is a fatigue part, not a vessel, so the sheet reads alloy.

Where is the spec sheet silent?

Thirty-six SKUs say only titanium alloy. Thirty others name Ti-6Al-4V outright, so the range itself shows the better practice - the camp-accessories line simply has not been annotated to that standard.

The parts question matters more than it looks. Eleven kettles carry walnut and zinc alloy parts, and zinc alloy is not titanium. If your market asks for a titanium-only declaration, those eleven need a parts list, not a grade.

Four keychains are also mixed, listed as titanium alloy plus pure titanium, which means the ring and the body may not share a grade.

What should you put on the RFQ?

Three lines settle it: the grade per line, the parts list for anything with a handle or a spring, and whether alloy means Grade 5 specifically. Ask for the answer in writing rather than inferring it from the photo.
