Short answer: 20 of the 503 SKUs name a case, gift box, bag, pouch or sleeve, and six of those twenty say the reverse - case free or pouch free. The other 483 names say nothing about packaging at all. Because packaging never reaches the weight field, the sheet on its own cannot tell you what arrives in the carton.
How many titanium SKUs name their packaging?
Twenty of 503. Fourteen describe packaging the SKU carries: seven cases, four bottle sleeves, three gift boxes, one bag and one pouch, with one SKU naming both a gift box and a bag. Six name the opposite - five case free and one pouch free.
The split follows the lines rather than the products. Twelve sit in tablewares, seven in cups and mugs, one in pots and pans. Nothing in kettles, camp accessories or EDC names packaging at all, so a buyer sourcing from those three lines has no signal either way.
The same spoon ships with a case and without one
Six 15 g folding spoons make the point. Three are named with a hanger case - LC-TZDS3, LC-TZDS4 and LC-TZDS10 - and three are named case free: LC-TZDS13, LC-TZDS14 and LC-TZDS15. All six publish 15 g.
So the case is a SKU decision, not a specification. The weight column cannot separate the two versions, and neither can the finish field. For contrast, the cased cutlery sets land at 38 g while the standalone 235 mm chopstick pairs are 20 g: a case changes what the buyer receives, not what the metal weighs.
Packaging is invisible in the weight column
Four 750 ml bottles say with sleeve. Only one of them, LC-TQXB13, publishes a weight - 109 g, the same figure carried by the two sleeve-free bottles in that family. Either the sleeve never touches the scale or it is not being measured, and the sheet does not say which.
The three gift-box SKUs publish no weight at all. Neither does the pouch-free spoon, which is the only piece in the range that states an absence in that form. A quote that lists grams therefore tells you nothing about whether a sleeve, case or box is inside the carton.
What should go on the purchase order?
Name the packaging per SKU - case, hanger case, gift box, sleeve or bag - and say whether it needs your logo or a barcode label. With 483 names silent on the question, nothing should be assumed from the product name.
