Sixteen Pieces Named for a Picnic, and the Three Jobs They Do

Matte titanium tea tumbler set with an 800 ml kettle and a 400 ml eagle beak brewer, listed in the range for picnics

Sixteen pieces in the range name a picnic, a hamper or a garden table. Two of them are not for eating at all.

A picnic range in numbers: sixteen pieces, five lines

How many titanium SKUs are named for a picnic? Sixteen - six in cups and mugs, three in tablewares, three in pots and pans, two in camp accessories and two in kettles. Ten of the sixteen carry a published weight.

The register is unusual because a picnic is not one setting but three at once: you need hot water, you need something to eat from, and you need to deal with the ground. The weights follow those three jobs.

Job one: boiling and pouring, 147 g to 200 g

Five pieces handle the hot end, and three of them publish a weight: a 600 ml folding-handle mug at 147 g, an 800 ml kettle with an Xishi pot and bowls at 200 g, and a second 800 ml set - kettle plus a 400 ml eagle-beak brewer - also at 200 g. The remaining two, a 600 ml fairness cup with a folding handle and a single tea cup, carry no published weight.

The practical rule: both 800 ml picnic sets land on exactly 200 g, so the choice between them is the pour, not the grammes. A brewer with a narrow eagle beak suits tea poured at a table; the Xishi pot plus bowls suits a group sitting on a blanket.

Job two: the food end, 18 g to 191 g

Eight pieces sit at the eating end, and six publish a weight. The lightest is a 165 mm straight-handle spoon at 18 g, packed without a pouch. Then a 126 mm Sierra bowl at 46 g, two lidded 450 ml cups at 72.2 g each, a 450 ml bowl-and-spoon set at 102 g, and a three-piece nesting set - 450 ml kettle, 260 ml mug and 120 ml shot - at 191 g.

That is a 10-fold spread inside one job, and it maps to how the food arrives. Cold food carried in a hamper needs the 46 g bowl and the 18 g spoon. Hot drinks for four need the 191 g nesting set, because the kettle and the shot glass travel inside the mug.

Job three: the ground, and the one pot for a crowd

Two pieces are not for eating. A set of ground pegs, 8 x 400 mm and 95 g, is listed for shade sails and lakefront picnic tents, and a folding campfire grill grid is listed for shore lunches and river bank picnics. If a picnic range is stocked without these, the buyer is selling tableware to people who are sitting on grass.

One further piece covers the crowd: a 2.5 L camp steamer pot set with an insert, listed for strawberry socials and garden tea party lunches. It is the only piece in the register built for more than four people at once.
