There are 503 SKUs in the range and the median product name runs 117 characters. That length is not padding - it is a spec sentence in a fixed order, and once you know the order you can quote from the name alone.
What does one of these product names actually contain?
Read left to right and the order holds: a buyer word when the piece has one, then a finish, then the form and capacity, then a weight or a diameter where the range publishes one, and finally a purpose clause. Forty-two names open with Wholesale Titanium and thirty with Anodized Titanium, so the first two words already tell you whether you are looking at a trade listing or a surface treatment.
Here is a whole name decoded: Anodized Titanium Camping Bowl 450ml 76g 125mm Wide Folding Wire Handle for Alpine Ramen Bars and Bushcraft Night Suppers. Finish, form, capacity, weight, diameter, feature, audience - seven facts in 121 characters, no spec sheet needed.
Where does the name stop and the spec sheet start?
Half the range states a capacity in millilitres - 256 of 503 names - but only 97 state a weight in grammes and 113 state a dimension in millimetres. A name with no gramme figure is telling you the piece is specified by what it holds, not by what it weighs, so do not read a shipping weight into it.
The 113 names carrying a millimetre figure are the ones you can dimension-check without opening the page: bowl diameters, stake lengths, cutlery lengths. For the other 390, the name gets you to the right family and the product page finishes the job.
Why do 86.5% of the names end with 'for ...'?
Because that clause is how the range addresses buyers. 435 of the 503 names close with a purpose clause, and inside them 51 say bulk or wholesale while 35 say OEM or private label. The rest name a venue, an occasion or a channel - a taproom, a bothy, a brunch service, a gift programme.
It is also the fastest filter you have. When a client brief says 'something for a wine bar' or 'a bowl for a bothy kitchen', search the clause rather than the form, and you will land on the SKU that was written for that brief instead of a generic bowl.
How should you use the name when you order?
Three steps: pick the buyer word, then the capacity, then the purpose clause. If two SKUs differ only in the finish word - Anodized against Matte Silver, or a Rainbow gradient against natural titanium - they are the same body in a different surface, which means one mould and two listings.
Copy the name verbatim onto the PO, finish word included, because the surface is part of the specification. MOQ is 5 pieces per SKU, samples ship in 5-10 days and stock orders leave our Baoji facility within 72 hours. Send us the brief on WhatsApp and we will send back the names that fit.
