Sixteen pieces name a kitchen that is not theirs
Sixteen of the 360 SKUs name a shared or rented kitchen in the product name: holiday let kitchens, a guest house pantry, hostel kitchens, bothy trip kitchens, a wild alpine hut, ski lodge kitchens, vacation rental kitchens, a birding lodge and a nature centre kitchen. Eight of the sixteen carry a published weight.
Four more pieces sit in the related shelter group - trail, tarp, open air theatre and meadow shelters - which is stake territory rather than kitchen territory.
The unit is a single piece, not a set
The first difference is what you buy. This group is built from single pieces: a 12 g boxed fork, an 18 g long-handle spoon, a 15 g folding spork set, a 46 g Sierra bowl, a 58 g cup and a 147 g mug with a folding handle.
A shared kitchen loses sets piece by piece, so a set is the wrong unit and a replaceable single piece is the right one.
Two of the sixteen are inserts, not pots
Two pieces in the group are steamer basket racks rather than pots - one at 2 L listed for vacation rental and cabin rental kitchens, one at 1.2 L for nature centre kitchens. That is the clearest statement of the problem: an operator equipping a rented kitchen cannot assume which pot is in the cupboard, so the insert is the part that travels.
Where the group does own the pot, it owns a large one: a 2.5 L group soup pot set for lodge and institutional kitchens, and a 2.5 L steamer pot set for ski lodge kitchens.
How this differs from a counter-service programme
This is not the same buyer as a venue buying for service. A cafe buys pieces that face customers; a holiday let, hostel or bothy buys pieces that face strangers who will not read a care label. That is why the group runs to single pieces, published weights and components that can be replaced one at a time.
