Twenty-Seven Pieces Are Written for the Fire and the Hours After It

Royal violet anodised titanium 450 ml camping cup, listed in the range for night sky stargazing camps

The range has registers for place and for trade. It also has twenty-seven pieces addressed to a time of day.

Twenty-seven pieces name an hour, not a place

Most of the range is addressed to somewhere: a summit, a coast, a marina, a shop counter. Twenty-seven SKUs name an hour instead - a night, a sunset, a campfire, a fireplace, a stargazing camp. Eleven sit in cups and mugs, ten in pots and pans, five in tablewares and one in kettles; seventeen carry a published weight.

It is the only time-of-day register in the catalogue. The one after-dark piece outside the food and drink lines is an EDC dive pointer stick at 92 g, listed for night scuba instructors, so the register reads as a table register.

At 450 ml, the weight says what is in the box

Nine pieces in the register state 450 ml. Their published weights are 58 g, 72.2 g, 125 g and 140 g - and the metal is the same in all four cases.

The 58 g group is the open single-wall cup in five colourways: Honey Gold, Peony Blush, Magenta Berry, Royal Violet and Rainbow Oil Slick. At 72.2 g there is one lidded version, Scarlet. At 125 g a rice bowl arrives with a Korean spoon, and at 140 g with a Korean long spoon and chopsticks. Same capacity, four weights, four different things in the box. A lid is what adds the 14.2 g; the coast register buys that lid for wind and rain, and the night register lists it for a fireplace.

From 15 g to 624 g inside one hour of the day

Sorted by published weight, the register runs from a 15 g folding spork set, case free and listed for stealth camping nights, up to a 2 L micro pressure pot at 624 g for campfire rice and porridge. In between: a 46 g Sierra bowl and cup set, the 58 g cups, a 109 g bottle for movie night, the 125 g and 140 g bowl sets, a 147 g 600 ml mug, a 191 g nesting set for comet night viewing, and an 800 ml kettle at 200 g. The 4.5 L pots in this register carry no published weight.

That is a 41-fold spread within a single hour, and it is not a contradiction: the register holds both the personal piece and the shared vessel. The buyer's decision is where the line falls - one 15 g spoon per person, one 2 L pot per four to six people.

What to stock for the evening

A workable evening list is short: two of the five 58 g cup colourways, one lidded 72.2 g cup for cold evenings, the 147 g 600 ml mug for shared brews, the 200 g kettle, the 15 g folding spork set, and one 2 L micro pressure pot at 624 g for group rice or porridge.
