Short answer: yes, the metal survives a dishwasher - but only one of the 503 SKUs in this range carries a dishwasher claim on its spec sheet, and that gap is deliberate. What varies between pieces is not the titanium, it is the surface and the fittings.
What does the metal itself do in a dishwasher?
Grade 1 titanium is chemically unreactive in hot water and in the alkaline detergents a dishwasher uses. It does not pit, it does not rust, and it does not need a protective film to stay that way - the passive oxide layer rebuilds itself in air within minutes.
This is why the material question is the easy one. The failure stories people repeat about dishwashers come from aluminium (which discolours), from mild steel (which rusts), and from coated pans (where the coating lifts). None of those mechanisms apply to bare titanium.
So why is the claim on only one SKU?
Because a dishwasher claim is a statement about a finished piece, not about a metal. An anodized surface carries a controlled oxide layer whose thickness sets its colour; 305 of the 503 SKUs are anodized. Aggressive alkaline cycles and basket abrasion change how that layer reads before they change anything structural.
The other variable is hardware. Eight bottle SKUs in the range are built with an insulating wall, and those pieces add sleeves and gaskets that have their own temperature limits. LC-TW01 is the one SKU where we have written the claim down; for the rest, the honest answer is a per-SKU one.
What should a buyer ask before specifying it?
Three questions settle it: is the piece bare or anodized, is there a sleeve or gasket, and which rack will it live in. Bare titanium in the top rack is the low-risk combination; anodized colour under a commercial cycle is the one that needs a wear test rather than an assumption.
If the answer matters to your channel - hospitality, rental fleets, subscription boxes - ask for it on the quote so it lands in writing against the SKU, not against the material.
How should you test before committing a container load?
Run ten cycles on a sample rather than one. Colour shift and edge wear show up between cycle five and ten, not on the first pass. MOQ is 5 pieces per SKU, samples ship in 5-10 days and stock orders leave our Baoji facility within 72 hours.
Send the piece you are considering on WhatsApp and we will tell you what the spec sheet for that SKU does and does not claim - including the 502 where it stays silent.
